Our portfolio ranges from the World’s Best Craft Distilled Whisky Starward Whisky in Australia, to the world’s first non-alcoholic spirit Seedlip.

THE ROLE: Ecommerce Manager
We’re looking for a forward-thinking digital marketer to help our portfolio companies be at the forefront of using digital channels to drive sales online either through their websites or third party retail partners. Our ambition is to set the standard of what’s possible in the drinks industry and to be at the forefront of digital trends.

This is a new position in a fast-growing business that is run by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. Your main responsibility will be to work with founders to devise, implement and optimise e-commerce strategies directly through the companies’ websites, Amazon and key ecommerce partners.
This will include but will not be limited to:
Assisting entrepreneurs in the development of conversion-focused websites and online experience to optimise direct sales.
Managing and developing a relationship with Amazon – establishing commercial and marketing best practice and implementing them with entrepreneurs: pricing, promotions, exclusives and limited editions, Amazon Marketing Services (AMS and AMG/AAP).
Managing and developing relationships with key ecommerce players – identify the best partners, build a relationship and establish best practice (commercial/marketing).
Showing an understanding of lifecycle marketing and email marketing – sourcing best partners and overlooking implementation.
Working in partnership with our paid social consultant and specialist agencies to drive online sales (direct and indirect).
Helping the companies measure and report performance against core KPIs and collate portfolio data comparisons.
Interpreting data to provide consumer insights and to optimise the product proposition in other channels.
Building a strong network within the e-commerce/social media/digital marketing scene to stay at the forefront of what’s happening in this space and build a solid network of experts. .

If you’re as happy working on tactical implementation activities as with defining a commercial and strategic vision then you could be right for this role. More specifically, we’re looking for experience of some or all of the following:
You’ll be fluent in a full spectrum of acquisition channels: owned, paid, earned media. Strong knowledge of DtoC and Amazon is a must. Knowledge of SEO and Google platforms is a great bonus.
Ideally, you’ll have built experience selling alcohol online and building commercial strategies – Amazon and/or ecommerce retailer. You’ll show a track record in growing a drinks brand’s audience and sales online.
Outstanding data analysis skills and the ability to interpret and communicate implications.
Minimum 4 years experience.
Good network within ecommerce/innovation/social media scene.
