Distill Ventures is the world’s first accelerator for new alcoholic and premium non-alcoholic drinks brands. We offer a combination of cash investment, mentoring and access to expertise – all in service of helping the founders of our portfolio companies grow their businesses to global scale. We have offices in London and New York City and to date, we’ve committed more than £60 million to over 15 founder-led brands around the world. Our portfolio ranges from the World’s Best Craft Distilled Whisky Starward Whisky in Australia, to the world’s first non-alcoholic spirit Seedlip.
THE ROLE: PORTFOLIO GROWTH LEAD.
We’re looking for a forward-thinking portfolio growth lead, to help our portfolio companies be at the forefront of using digital channels to drive direct sales and brand growth. Our ambition is to set the standard of what’s possible in the drinks industry and to be at the forefront of digital trends. We’re specifically looking for expert knowledge in Facebook/Instagram marketing. Some knowledge of e-commerce with Amazon would be a great bonus.
This is a new position in a fast-growing business that is run by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. The role is yours to define and it’s likely to evolve as we continue to grow. However, to start with, you’ll be tasked with the following:
Working with founders and their teams to define their digital growth plans, to coordinate and execute growth programs, and to optimise the revenue funnel:
Implementing portfolio data infrastructure.
Building a strong network within the marketing/innovation/e-commerce/social media scene to stay at the forefront of what’s happening in this space.
