Distill Ventures is the world’s first accelerator for new alcoholic and premium non-alcoholic drinks brands. We offer a combination of cash investment, mentoring and access to expertise – all in service of helping the founders of our portfolio companies grow their businesses to global scale. We have offices in London and New York City and to date, we’ve committed more than £60 million to over 15 founder-led brands around the world. Our portfolio ranges from the World’s Best Craft Distilled Whisky Starward Whisky in Australia, to the world’s first non-alcoholic spirit Seedlip.


We’re looking for a forward-thinking portfolio growth lead, to help our portfolio companies be at the forefront of using digital channels to drive direct sales and brand growth. Our ambition is to set the standard of what’s possible in the drinks industry and to be at the forefront of digital trends. We’re specifically looking for expert knowledge in Facebook/Instagram marketing. Some knowledge of e-commerce with Amazon would be a great bonus.


This is a new position in a fast-growing business that is run by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. The role is yours to define and it’s likely to evolve as we continue to grow. However, to start with, you’ll be tasked with the following:

Working with founders and their teams to define their digital growth plans, to coordinate and execute growth programs, and to optimise the revenue funnel:

  • Helping shape digital marketing growth strategies, pushing the boundaries of what is possible and setting core KPIs for success.
  • Helping devise e-commerce strategies and optimising e-commerce journeys.
  • Implementation and optimisation of campaigns on the Facebook/Instagram platforms. 
  • Implementation of optimisation strategies using analytics tools and A-B testing.

Implementing portfolio data infrastructure.

  • Selecting and integrating the right analytics products to set up great dashboards and testing tools.
  • Helping the companies measure and report performance against core KPIs and collate portfolio data comparisons.
  • Interpreting data to provide consumer insights and to optimise the product proposition in other channels. 

Building a strong network within the marketing/innovation/e-commerce/social media scene to stay at the forefront of what’s happening in this space.


If you’re as happy working on tactical implementation activities as with defining a strategic vision then you could be right for this role. More specifically, we’re looking for experience of some or all of the following:

  • You’ll be fluent in a full spectrum of acquisition channels: owned, paid, earned media. Expertise in Facebook and Instagram is required. Strong grasp of Amazon, SEO and Google platforms is a great bonus.
  • Outstanding data analysis skills and the ability to interpret and communicate implications.
  • A strong creative streak with a good eye for what constitutes great content.
  • Minimum 4 years experience.
  • Ideally, you will have worked with startup companies, using budget in a nimble and effective way..
  • You’ll show a track record in growing a brand’s audience and sales.
  • Good network within marketing/innovation/social media scene.
